Double H Tire opened June 1, 1987. A partnership between Father & Son, Leroy and Todd Hamilton. However, we can never forget my Mother, Betty. The only one that could keep us in line!!!

We were a "Tire" family since before I was born. In the 1950's, my Dad sold Dunlop tires at stores owned by distant relatives. When I was 14, I joined in, working on cars, trucks and tractors, full time. The next summer, my Dad left that company and took a sales rep position with Dunlop Tire Corp. As their territory rep. in Oklahoma City. As a high school kid, I worked for a couple different stores. After 5 years, my parents moved back to Mineral Wells, TX (Home) and joined his cousin as a partner. I stayed in Oklahoma City for 7 more years. 

In 1985, Dad and his partner convinced me to move back to Texas and join them. After 2 years, I left the company and a couple weeks later Dad joined me. It took us 5 months to scrape together enough cash and used equipment to open our own store. So, it begins!
Double H Tire, June 1, 1987! From day one, we had so much local support and were blessed to serve our community.

Dad passed in 2005 and Mom in 2010. And, I'm still doing what I was raised to do, sell tires and help folks. We've had many, many alliances with companies and manufacturers over the years. We are proud to offer our customers "ANY" brand they choose. Currently, we are proud to be a:

But as I said we sell "all" brands. In these tough economic times, I stand up for my customers and fight the manufacturers for more fair pricing. Our pricing sets us apart from big discounters. Our pricing for tires on your personal car or light truck includes mounting, balancing, and lifetime service, unlike the big discounter that quotes a cheap price and adds all the services to it. We offer most major brands of tires so you, the customer, have plenty of choices and with daily delivery from 7 companies, the wait time is short. 
                Tire sizing has become crazy...In 1997, about 10 sizes covered about 90% of all vehicles, not anymore!!! We strive daily to provide quality and service at competitive prices. 
There have been many great people that have worked with us over the years, including my sister, Trish, and many vendors and suppliers. I'd like to extend my dearest thanks to you all. We couldn't have done it without you.
